Cookie Policy

This policy explains which cookies Aural currently uses, how your choices are stored, and how you can manage cookie preferences on the site.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website can store in your browser in order to remember certain choices or support a more consistent experience on future visits.

2. What the site currently uses

Aural uses cookies that are necessary for the site to function consistently and to remember your cookie choice.

  • Necessary cookies allow the site to remember your cookie choice and avoid showing the consent interface on every visit.
  • Optional analytics cookies are used only if you explicitly enable the analytics category. In that case, the site may use Google Analytics 4 to understand website traffic and how visitors use the content, primarily through aggregated insights and usage patterns.

Analytics cookies and GA4 remain inactive unless you enable that category yourself. The site does not load optional analytics or marketing scripts before that choice.

3. Cookies that may be identifiable on the site

  • aural_cookie_preferences is a first-party cookie that stores whether you selected Accept all, Necessary only, or a custom choice through preferences. It remains available for up to 180 days from your latest choice unless you delete it earlier through your browser or update your preference on the site. In some cases, actual availability may be shorter because of browser settings or other technical limitations.
  • If you enable analytics, Google Analytics 4 may use first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_<container-id>to distinguish visits and measure site usage. The exact set and lifespan of those cookies can depend on Google's configuration and browser behaviour, so they are described here conservatively rather than as a fixed exhaustive list.

4. How you give and change your choice

On your first visit, the site presents a consent interface with the clear options Accept all, Necessary only, and Preferences, where you can also save a custom choice.

You can reopen and change your choice later through the footer link Cookie Preferences.

If you do not enable the analytics category, Google Analytics 4 remains off. You can later reopen preferences and change your choice at any time.

5. Browser settings

In addition to the controls on the site, you can block, limit, or delete cookies through your browser settings. Please note that doing so may affect how the site remembers your preference or displays parts of the interface.

6. Changes and contact

This policy may be updated if the site's cookie usage, consent logic, or technical implementation changes.

If you have a question about cookies or preference management, you can write to kontakt@aural.rs or also review the Privacy Policy.
